Gryphon KnowsTM initiative aims to clarify the vendor “noise” regarding sales effectiveness.

Gryphon Networks, a leading provider of cloud systems that improve sales and marketing effectiveness, announces the launch of Gryphon Knows, a sales innovation and information series for sales managers and corporate leaders.

The Gryphon Knows series has a mission to stimulate dialogue in a non-commercial, vendor-neutral environment through sharing management principles, best practices, case studies, and expert opinion across the spectrum of sales effectiveness and management.

Doing so, Gryphon hopes to simplify and clarify the confusion associated with new technology, tools, and platforms which promise to improve sales efficiency and increase revenue.

The emphasis of this series is on processes and methodologies, rather than tools, with a stated goal of helping sales leaders understand the daily sales behaviors that predict desirable outcomes and revenue growth.

“The number of enablement trends that exist today appears inversely proportional to the percentage of sales leaders who consistently make their quota,” said Eric Esfahanian, chief revenue officer at Gryphon Networks. “Gryphon Knows is aimed at shining a light on the timeless sales concepts that seem to have been forgotten.”

In 1998, Gryphon invented a call blocking and tracking service that was accessible from any telephone, or carrier network.  By being “in the path” of hundreds of millions of sales calls – made by clients such as John Hancock, ADT Security, and Morgan Stanley — Gryphon amassed a mountain of phone-based sales activity information that had never been collected or analyzed in one place before.

Since its founding, Gryphon clients have:

  • Completed 650MM sales and service phone calls.
  • Booked over 20 million appointments by phone.
  • Recorded 195 million post-call dispositions.
  • Processed talk time for more than 804MM minutes (that’s 1,500 years of call duration).

The subsequent analysis of this data and the patterns that developed over time formed the foundation of the Gryphon Knows initiative.  Across almost 20 years and as many different industries, the quantitative data collected by Gryphon has either supported or invalidated many commonly held beliefs on sales success.  The Gryphon Knows series will reveal its findings via monthly updates at no cost to subscribers.

The Gryphon Knows Series is part of a new corporate website launch, viewable at www.gryphonknows.com.
