As Chief Scientist and Co-founder, Rick leads the development of the Gryphon ONE platform and brings more than 20 years of high-tech innovation and engineering experience to Gryphon. A founding member of the Gryphon team, Rick developed the world’s first call-blocking technology — Gryphon Call AdvisorTM — which quickly became the gold-standard Do-Not-Call service adopted by half the country’s top banks and 8 of 10 top insurance companies. His unique expertise in building sophisticated cloud technology helped extend the company’s lead in advanced telephony and centralized marketing systems. Rick’s work with Gryphon has earned over 30 US and international patent awards covering every aspect of the Sales Intelligence ecosystem.

A former chief architect at an IT consultancy, Rick designed high-availability database systems used for imaging and communication-related projects. Earlier in his career, Rick worked as chief architect at an IT consultancy as well as a software engineer for Honeywell, responsible for providing all software development and support for Graphics Group.

Rick holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University and a Master’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering with a concentration in Computer-Aided Manufacturing Systems from Boston University.
