Customer Alert: US & Canadian Holiday Telephone Solicitation Bans for August 2015

Please be aware of the following holidays requiring a US holiday telephone solicitation ban for the month of August:

• On Monday, August 10th, 2015, Rhode Island prohibits unsolicited marketing calls to residents in observance of Victory Day.
• On Sunday, August 30th, 2015, Louisiana prohibits unsolicited marketing calls to residents in observance of Huey P. Long Day; however, state law already prohibits telephone solicitations on Sundays.

Please be aware of the following Canadian Marketing Association (CMA) member holiday telephone solicitation bans for the month of August:
On Monday, August 3rd, 2015, the CMA prohibits members from making unsolicited marketing calls to residents of Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, and Saskatchewan in observance of civic holidays.

• On Monday, August 17th, 2015, the CMA prohibits members from making unsolicited marketing calls to Yukon residents in observance of Discovery Day.
