Customer Alert: US & Canadian Holiday Telephone Solicitation Bans for February 2017

Please be aware of the following U.S. holiday telephone solicitation bans for the month of February:
- On Monday, February 20th, 2017, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Rhode Island, and Utah prohibit unsolicited marketing calls to residents in observance of Presidents’ Day.
- On Tuesday, February 28th, 2017, Alabama and Louisiana prohibit unsolicited marketing calls to residents in observance of Mardi Gras.
Please be aware of the following Canadian Marketing Association (CMA) member holiday telephone solicitation bans for the month of February:
- On Monday, February, 13th, 2017, the CMA prohibits members from making unsolicited marketing calls to residents of British Columbia in observance of Family Day.
- On Monday, February 20th, 2017, the CMA prohibits members from making unsolicited marketing calls to residents of Nova Scotia in observance of Viola Desmond Day and Nova Scotia Heritage Day.
- On Monday, February 20th, 2017, the CMA prohibits members from making unsolicited marketing calls to residents of Prince Edward Island in observance of Islander Day.
- On Monday, February 20th, 2017, the CMA prohibits members from making unsolicited marketing calls to residents of Alberta, Ontario, and Saskatchewan in observance of Family Day.
- On Monday, February 20th, 2017, the CMA prohibits members from making unsolicited marketing calls to residents of Manitoba in observance of Louis Riel Day.
- On Friday, February 24th, 2017, the CMA prohibits members from making unsolicited marketing calls to residents of Yukon in observance of Yukon Heritage Day.
