New York Amends Call Recording Law; All-Party Consent Now Required
August 25, 2017
Please be aware that New York has amended its call recording law (SB 4361) to require that all parties in a telemarketing call be alerted that a call may be recorded. New York now joins the “all-party consent” states for call recording consent requirements. The NY state law is effective immediately.
Gryphon has updated its existing service parameters to reflect this consent requirement.
