Gryphon ONE Foundation Edition 

Gryphon ONE’s Foundation edition offers a crucial first step in contact compliance by providing portal-based batch list processing to proactively minimize Do-Not-Call, Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”), and other regulatory risks. Gryphon ONE Foundation empowers organizations to move beyond purely reactive measures, establishing an initial, structured approach to compliance and laying the groundwork for more comprehensive, proactive management of contact lists and adherence to federal and state laws and regulations. 

Search & Certify 

Search & Certify allow Customer to access compliance services via the Gryphon user interface. Search allows Customer to certify contacts, manage Customer’s internal do-not-call list (“IDNC”) and exemption data sets (“Exemption Data Sets”), view contact history, and run reports. Certify allows Customer to certify telephone numbers through a browser-based file upload process. 

Gryphon Compliance Service 

United States 

The compliance service shall identify U.S. telephone numbers that Customer is prohibited from calling because the telephone numbers are either:  

  1. on Customer’s IDNC List,  
  1. registered on an applicable U.S. state do-not-call (“DNC”) list, Direct Marketing Association Telephone Preference Service List (DMA TPS List), or the U.S. National DNC Registry,  
  1. on a list of U.S. wireless telephone numbers in a jurisdiction where manually or automatically dialed calls are prohibited; or  
  1. prohibited by state holiday, state of emergency, state or federal calling hour or frequency restrictions at the time the telephone number is contacted. 

Canada  

The compliance service shall identify Canadian telephone numbers that Customer is prohibited from calling because the telephone numbers are either:  

  1. on Customer’s IDNC List, 
  1. registered on Canada’s National DNC List maintained by the Canada Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission (“CRTC”),  
  1. prohibited by federal or provincial holiday or federal calling hour or frequency restrictions at the time the telephone number is contacted. 

Internal Do-Not-Call (IDNC) Management  

Internal Do-Not-Call (“IDNC”) Management for the phone channel shall identify U.S. and/or Canadian telephone numbers that Customer is prohibited from calling because they are either on Customer’s IDNC or Opt-Out List (collectively, “IDNC”). Gryphon’s IDNC Management service functionality is based on Customer’s IDNC data sets, a series of telephone numbers transmitted by Customer to Gryphon in a form, format and frequency mutually defined and agreed upon by Customer and Gryphon. 

Additional Compliance Features 

Established Business Relationship (EBR) Management 

Established Business Relationship (“EBR”) Management allows Customer to increase its universe of permitted communications by recognizing legal exemptions to state (provincial) and federal telephone do-not-contact laws in the U.S. and Canada. Gryphon’s EBR Management service is based on Customer’s exemption data sets, a series of telephone numbers, exemption types and associated exemption dates, identified and transmitted by Customer to Gryphon in a form, format and frequency mutually defined and agreed upon by Customer and Gryphon (collectively, “Exemption Data Sets”).  

Location Blocking 

Location Blocking provides Customer with the ability to enable blocking of telephone calls to U.S. states, Canadian provinces, and/or specific area codes at Customer’s discretion. 

Toll-Free Preferences  

Toll-Free Preferences allow Customer to enable toll-free number calling restrictions. 

Wireless Separation (United States only) 

Customer may utilize Gryphon’s wireless separation functionality to remove wireless telephone numbers prior to certification. If Customer elects to enable this functionality, Customer must first subscribe to legally required wireless lists, including available data identifying phone numbers ported between wireless and wireline. 

Gryphon ONE Insights 

Gryphon ONE Insights provides analytics and data on Gryphon Search, Gryphon Certify, and list management. Gryphon ONE Insights assists with monitoring exemption performance, managing do-not-call expirations, and tracking transaction usage efficiently.
