Sales Intelligence Adoption: Numbers don’t lie
December 22, 2016
In The State of Salesforce, a recent survey conducted in collaboration with Bluewolf and MIT’s Sloan School of Management, more than 1,000 current Salesforce.com users were interviewed about their overall customer experience and application adoption in the Salesforce AppExchange. Since its inception, AppExchange has served as the leading cloud marketplace for business applications that cater to the various needs of organizations, no matter how big or how small. Applications are classified under specific criteria and are continually gaining popularity based on rising and dipping trends in the market.
The survey concluded that more than half of Salesforce.com customers have between 1-5 AppExchange applications installed. Of those applications, the infographic below represents an overview of current adoption, as well as what is anticipated for these applications in the future. As you can see, applications about both Sales Intelligence and Dashboards & Reports are rapidly gaining momentum—with Sales Intelligence predicted as one of three AppExchange categories that will see the most significant adoption increase in 2015.
